(Outdoor apparel) The supremacy of Roger Federer
No commentsBy ScottX
In professional tennis hardly any can equal the phenom known as Roger Federer. This man has attained everything pro tennis has to provide and he keeps winning. It seems as if there is no slow down in sight for this man. Everytime he makes an appearance at tennis tournaments and picks up tennis rackets, he seems to dominate. He’s won tennis tournaments on every surface you can think of, clay, grass, hard courts. Nothing has stood in his way. He is by far one of the most steady athletes tennis has ever encountered.
Early on in his career Roger Federer had his ups and downs like any players. His initial tournament as a pro was Gstaad in 1998, when he went against Lucas Arnold Ker in the Round of 32, and he was overcome 4-6, 4-6. This defeat didn’t hold him down for long though. Federer’s first final came at the Marseille Open, which was in 2000, and he lost to fellow Swiss Marc Rosset 6-2, 3-6, 6-7. It took him some time to get in his winning ways, but Federer’s initial win was at the 2000 Milan Indoor tournament, which he beat Julien Boutter by a score of 6-4, 6-7, 6-4. The most distinguished events finals he was in at this time was the 2002 Miami Masters event, where he lost out to Andre Agassi bya total of 3-6, 3-6, 6-3, 4-6 on a hard surface. Also, Federer prevailed in his initial Master Series event in the 2002 Hamburg Masters on clay by a score of 6-1, 6-3, 6-4 superior to Marat Safin. Federer made ten singles finals during this time in his pro career between 1998 and 2002, which he was victorious in four and failed in six. From 1998 into 2002, Federer made six finals in doubles. Of relevance are the finals at the Indian Wells Masters, which Federer along with partner Max Mirnyi were defeated in 2002, but they did win in the 2002 Rotterdam 500 series event. In 2001, Federer would go on to victory in the exact same contest with Jonas Bjrkman.
The next couple years is when Roger Federer would really show his talent and really start to come into his own. In the 2003 season, Federer overcame in his initial slam at the 2003 Wimbledon Championships, in which he overcame Mark Philippoussis by a tally of 7-6(5), 6-2, 7-6(3).
Federer won his one and only doubles Masters Series 1000 Event in Miami with Max Mirnyi, and made it to one singles Masters Series 1000 Event in Rome on clay, which he lost. Federer then made it to nine finals on the ATP Tour, which he won seven of them, including the 500 series competitions at Dubai and Vienna. Federer ended the year by winning the Year-End Championships over Andre Agassi. In 2004, Federer would be victorious in the Australian Open,Wimbledon, and the US open respectively.
Go forward to the present day and you will see, when Roger Federer picks up tennis rackets, he still wins. In the 2009 season, Roger Federer won two slams, which were the French Open win by defeating Robin Soderling in 6-1, 7-6(1), 6-4 and the Wimbledon Championships win by overcoming Andy Roddick 5-7, 7-6(6), 7-6(5), 3-6, 16-14. Of note, Federer made two additional slam finals in the Australian Open losing to Rafael Nadal by scores of 5-7, 6-3, 6-7(3), 6-3, 2-6 and the US Open losing to Juan Martin del Potro in 6-3, 6-7(5), 6-4, 6-7(4), 2-6. Federer would continue on to win two more competitions in 2009, One would be in the Madrid Masters over Rafael Nadal in the final, which was on clay, by a total of 6-4, 6-4. In addition, Federer also would win in Cincinnati by downing Novak Djokovic by a tally of 6-1, 7-5,but Federer would go on to be defeated by Djokovic in Basel 4-6, 6-4, 2-6 later on in the year. During this year, Federer achieved a career grand slam by achieving his first French Open title, and achieved a record fifteenth slam, which is more than Pete Sampras’ mark of fourteen for men.
So far in the 2010 season, Roger Federer already has competed in two competitions, with a win coming in the Australian Open. In the final match, Federer defeated Briton Andy Murray by a total of 6-3, 6-4, 7-6(11), whom he also defeated in the 2008 US Open final.
To conclude, Roger Federer is a master on the court. And all the points in this article can prove that without a doubt Any new pro male tennis players will have to defeat this man if they want to prove themselves and be considered a a potential contender in the game of tennis. Roger Federer is an example of a great champion and a great athlete and will more than likely continue to dominate the sport he loves for years to come.

How to Buy Lingerie Online for the First Time
By Chris LeRoy
Buying lingerie online opens a huge variety of choices for women. You can find items that you would not normally be able to find while shopping in local stores as well as alternative colors, patterns and styles. The internet is filled with not only a large amount of lingerie sources but also “dancewear” specialty shops for exotic dancers. These women know what to wear to be sexy and you can find some really jaw-dropping lingerie at these online sources. Buying lingerie for the first time online though can be a bit overwhelming.
Whether you are shopping for a specific item or just wanting to add a few additional pieces to your lingerie drawer take your time and browse the internet. With so many online stores available, shops are fighting for your business so before you press that “checkout” button, see if you can find it cheaper elsewhere. Many sites will offer free shipping or “buy one, get one” deals so look for these. You also want to check return policy. As many women already know, some stores will not accept a return or exchange on lingerie, even if the tags are still intact (like you are really going to wear that bra with the long tag hanging from it?). So, if there is a doubt in your mind that something may not fit or look quite right on you, check to make sure that you can ship it back for a return if unworn. Many online stores will also offer free return labels too which is helpful.
All lingerie sizing runs different. As much as women can wish there was some sort of universal sizing for all lingerie, there is simply is not. Most sites will have a size chart available. Take the time to measure yourself. Also, remember, one size does not fit all. If you have reached a site that offers mainly one size fits all clothing and all the models seem to be a size 0 and your figure is more in the society average of double digits, chances are that little undergarment is not going to fit no matter how stretchy it is.
Don’t go overboard! Until you know that brand or piece is going to fit you, don’t order one in every color just because it is the perfect piece you are looking for. Chances are it will still be there five days from now after you receive your package and make sure everything fits just right.
Check out the company. There are so many online lingerie shops now a day but which ones are legitimate? Thankfully, most of the time you can tell by looking at the quality of the webpage, or perhaps it’s a store you have heard of but look for reviews. Many stores will have customer reviews available or you can do a Google search and see if anything negative comes up. Always be sure when entering any credit card information online that the web address is ‘https’ and not ‘http’. The first example symbolizes a secure location where your information can’t be viewed from others. All legitimate stores will have a secure connection.
Buying lingerie can be a fun event and there definitely is a lot more choices. If something arrives and it doesn’t fit right, send it back right away. Don’t’ let it collect dust until it’s past the ‘return’ policy allowed time. Be careful though, once you get past the first time of buying lingerie online you find excuses to do it all the time!

Top Ten Types of Shoes and Footwear
By Tracey Shoes
Dress shoes tend to be identifiable by their smooth and supple leather finish, leather soles and sleek lines, while casual shoes tend to have sturdy uppers and a wider profile. Some types of dress shoe can be worn by either gender and they mostly cover the lower foot, but not the ankle.
This upper element of the shoe is often without apertures or openings, but may also be made with openings or even itself consist of a series of straps, e.g. an open toe featured in women’s shoes.
Shoes with uppers made high to cover the ankles are also made; a shoe with the upper rising above the ankle is usually considered a boot but certain styles may be referred to as high-topped shoes or high-tops. Normally, a high-topped shoe is fixed by laces or zips, although some styles have elastic to ease slipping the shoe on.
There is a large variety of shoes available for women, in addition to most of the men’s styles being more accepted as unisex. Some broad categories are:
High-heeled footwear may be shoes with heels 2 inches (5 cm) or higher. They are often seen as having more sex appeal than low heels and are as a result commonly worn by women for formal occasions or social outings.
Kitten heels are low high heels from about 1 to 2 inches high, and are set in from the back of the shoe.
Sneaker boot and sneaker pumps are shoes that look like an athletic shoe, but is equipped with a heel, making it a kind of novelty dress shoe.
Wedge Sandals are sandals but have the ankles higher as if wearing a high heels shoe, a kind of hybrid. Mules are shoes or slippers with no fitting around the heel (i.e. they are backless) also known as slip-ons. Sling backs are shoes which are fixed by a strap behind the heel, rather than over the top of the foot. Espadrilles are flat or high-heeled casual fashion sandals in a style which originally came from the Pyrenees. They usually have a cotton or canvas upper and a flexible sole of rope or rubber.
Clogs are a Platform shoe with very thick soles and heels. Moccasins originated by Native Americans, are a soft shoe without a heel and usually made of leather.
Sandals are open shoes of a sole and various straps, leaving much of the foot exposed to air. They are as a result popular for warm-weather wear, because they allow the foot be cooler than an enclosed shoe would. Slip-on shoes are dress or casual shoes without laces; often with tassels, buckles, or coin-holders (penny loafers).
Boat shoes, or “deck shoes” are similar to a loafer, but more casual. Laces are usually simple leather or cotton with no frills. Typically made of leather and featuring a soft white sole to avoid marring or scratching a boat deck. The first boat shoe was invented in 1935 by Paul Sperry.
Boots: Long shoes (covering the ankle) frequently made of leather. Some are designed to be used in times of bad weather, or simply as an alternate style of casual or dress wear. Styles include rubber boots and snow boots, as well as work boots and hiking boots.
And finally who could forget the ever faithful slipper? Worn primarily at home, they can often be seen curled up in front of the TV with a pyjama wearing person.
